Eiraku Zengoro Fukizumi Crane Neck Vase Kyoyaki Pottery Flower Holder
This is a crane neck flower vase with sometsuke fukizumi (blue and white ware with blown ink decoration). Crane neck flower vases are popular and frequently used because they neatly hold one or two types of flowers. The size is: mouth 1.77 inches, body diameter 3.15 inches, height 7.68 inches. There is an Eiraku mark on the base, but the glaze is thin, making the impression faint and difficult to see clearly, but its authenticity is guaranteed. Eiraku Zengoro is a master potter of Kyo-yaki, one of the “Senke Jusshoku” (ten craft families of the Senke tea ceremony tradition), and a leading authority on tea utensils. The family has been engaged in the production of dofuro (clay braziers) and pottery for generations, with the 18th generation currently continuing the tradition. It comes with a matching wooden box.
