Asian Hand Carved Elephant Wood Table Glass Top Vintage Furniture

This is an Asian vintage wood carved table from about 50 years ago. It measures approximately 18.50 x 18.50 x 17.32 inches and weighs about 44.09 lbs. The top surface features a three-dimensional and elaborate hand-carved sculpture of three elephants and a forest landscape, making it a distinctive piece of craft furniture. The table has no seals or inscriptions, so the country of origin could not be identified. Careful carving is applied to the legs and base, giving it the substantial feel of luxury imported furniture from the Showa 50s era. The transparent glass top is also original to the period. It has been stored for a long time, wrapped in a large cloth in a storage room. It has been cleaned (wiped with a damp cloth and dried) for listing. There are minor scratches and scuffs due to age and storage, but overall it is in good condition for its age. There are no cracks in the glass. Overall, the condition is good, and there is no wobbling. There are small scratches and scuffs on the sides, please refer to photos 19 and 20. This item is not new.
