Oribe Ware Karatsu Ware Tokkuri Vase Edo Period Antique Pottery 2-Piece Set

This lot includes two flower vases from the Edo period, one Oribe ware and one Karatsu ware. A wooden box is included as shown in the photos. They are from the late Edo period to the end of the Edo shogunate. An old box is also included. The Oribe vase has some ink writing around the body, and the Karatsu vase has ink writing on the bottom, but the details are unknown. The Oribe vase is approximately 9.45 inches high, with a bottom diameter of approximately 3.43 inches, and weighs about 596g. The Karatsu vase is approximately 10.16 inches high, with a bottom diameter of approximately 3.27 inches, and weighs about 677g. The condition shows age-related chips, scuffs, bumps, fine scratches, inclusions, missing parts, slight wobbling, stains, and dirt. There is a possibility of an oil smell. There are old cracks in various places.
