Shouraku Kiln Kikai Kiln Sasaki Kyoshitsu Flower Vase Incense Box Set

This is a set of a flower vase and an incense container, crafted by Kirai kiln, also known as Shouraku kiln, under the artisan name Sasaki Kyoshitsu. I understand that the same name is used for superior works. Both are wonderful pieces; the flower vase features bold carving and striking gold leaf. The incense container is also lovely with scattered plum blossoms. This is a rare work with the Kyoshitsu inscription. The flower vase measures 3.15 inches in diameter and 7.87 inches in height. The incense container measures 3.15 inches in diameter and 1.18 inches in height.
