This is a very old antique writing desk that was used in the Nagabei-cho area, an old samurai district in Nagoya. It is a very old writing desk, dating from the Edo period to the Meiji era. It was carefully made by craftsmen from very hard wood, using wooden pegs instead of iron nails. This is a very attractive old writing desk with a chic and luxurious feel, made of good quality wood, featuring drawers on both sides, which is a rare design. There are 5 drawers on the left and right, and one in the center, totaling 6 drawers, offering ample storage capacity and a well-balanced, beautiful design. The drawers open and close without any issues. The handles are old iron ones, but there is no key. This is undoubtedly an antique piece that has been in the family's home for a long time. It is a wonderful piece of furniture handcrafted by old craftsmen from high-quality wood.
