Japanese Ceramic Ink Pot Sumitsubo Kikutsubo Pig Eye Heart Shape Unglazed
This is a very rare, large ceramic ink pot. It is shaped like an old-style ink pot with a high-positioned thread wheel. The thread wheel has a chrysanthemum pattern. A metal rotating handle is attached to the thread wheel. The ink reservoir is heart-shaped. The thread opening is also reproduced, and a metal fitting for passing a string is expressed at the midpoint between the thread wheel and the ink reservoir. This item is in very good condition, with no large chips despite being ceramic. There is one spot where the thread wheel catches when rotating, but this is not an issue as it is not for practical use. The overall length is 12.99 inches, height is 6.50 inches, and width is 3.94 inches. It is made of ceramic and comes with a box.
