This is an old Imari sake bottle, fired in the mid-Edo period. It has a Kurawanka-style feel, and looking at the clay of the foot, it might be Hasami ware. Characters are drawn with sometsuke, probably reading “吸酒入” (suck in sake). This appears to be a sake bottle, similar to those from that era that also have characters drawn on them. The characters are drawn freely and boldly, giving it a unique charm. The entire sake bottle has a stained, aged look, making it one of a kind, showing extensive past use. It is in the best condition for serving sake. The condition is good. Overall, it is soft-fired, but it has a finished look that can be appreciated as character. The sound when tapped is not bad at all. Its height is 4.53 inches.
