The butterflies are arranged in different directions, with eyelets forming their wing patterns, eyes, and antennae, and bridge embroidery on their bodies. The hand embroidery is meticulously done stitch by stitch with lustrous red thread. The fabric has a smooth, dry feel with an elegant sheen, reminiscent of crisp chirimen-like crepe with an uneven surface, possibly a cretonne fabric.
