
Imaizumi Imaemon Arita Ware Vase Hand-painted Porcelain
This is a vase created by the 13th generation Imaizumi Imaemon, a Living National Treasure and master of a renowned Japanese kiln, inheriting the tradition of Iro-Nabeshima, a traditional Japanese craft. This vase features a Nishiki Yamabuki-e (brocade Kerria flower painting) design, characteristic of Imaemon's Iro-Nabeshima traditional patterns. All the beautiful somenishiki (dyeing and brocade) patterns are hand-painted. The vase dimensions are: height 8.39 inches, diameter 7.68 inches. It comes with a tomobako (matching wooden box) made of paulownia wood. The material is ceramic.
