Kan Ito White Porcelain Bottle. Size: approximately mouth diameter 1.06 inches, body diameter 3.31 inches x height 10.59 inches. Main unit only, no other accessories. This is a slightly tall white porcelain bottle. It is a white porcelain, although there seem to be various types of white. It is one of the artist's bottle series, and the mouth is finely and delicately crafted, perhaps from an earlier period than those currently on the market. Kan Ito (1971-) studied under Hikaru Yamada of Sodeisha. He creates vessels using white porcelain, white slip, kotan-yu (a type of glaze), and rust silver glaze. Bottles with motifs of old bottles are particularly popular. He works in Okayama. Ceramic items, by their nature, may develop crazing.
