Kutani Ware Kitade Tojiro Nishikide Flower Butterfly Twist Gourd Vase 21.2cm
This is a Kutani ware ornamental vase by Toujirou Kitade, a Japan Art Academy Award-winning artist and a master craftsman, featuring a detailed Nishikide flower and butterfly design in a twisted gourd shape. The vase has a mouth diameter of approximately 1.18 inches, a body diameter of approximately 4.53 inches, and a height of approximately 8.35 inches. It comes with a wooden box and a bookmark introducing Toujirou Kitade of Kanazawa City. Although unused, due to long-term storage, the box lid has scuffs, ink bleeding, sun damage, and the box string is missing. The vase itself is in excellent condition.
