Nakagawa Isaku Chibana Nanban Ware Fish Motif Vase Flower Holder

This is a Chibana Namban ware by Isaku Nakagawa from Okinawa. It is a mizusashi (water jar) or flower vase, a kiln-fired pottery with fish patterns, “Kurusu” patterns, and cross patterns. It was collected for appreciation and has not been used, so water leakage is unknown. As it is an old item, there may be scratches, chips, or cracks. Although some items may not have Mr. Nakagawa's engraving or signature, they were purchased from the Chibana Namban ware kiln, so they are undoubtedly his works.
