Laura Ashley Antique Collection Chamber Pot White Embossed Lidded Pottery

This is a genuine British antique, believed to be from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It is a rare lidded chamber pot in white with a charming embossed pattern. It was used at dining tables or in washrooms in the distant past when there was no running water. Black spots are visible on the upper inner part and bottom of the main body. Crazing is visible on the inner and outer sides. The lid has black spots, fine crazing, and three hairline cracks. A part of the lid's rim has a light brown discoloration. Overall, it has a good luster, and a white embossed, lidded chamber pot is particularly rare. It is an elegant white ceramic piece that can be used as a serving dish or a flower vase. The main body measures 8.66 inches in diameter, with a handle length of 1.97 inches and a height of 5.12 inches. The lid measures 9.84 inches in diameter and 1.18 inches in height, with a knob measuring 1.57 inches in diameter and 0.98 inches in height. This is an antique item.
