Fukagawa-seiji Vase Flower Vase Porcelain Sometsuke Kinshai Gold Trim
This is a rare and hard-to-find masterpiece from Fukagawa-seiji, purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency. The beautiful and delicate painting is superb. It features Sometsuke-Kinsai, harmonizing Japanese and Western styles. It has a strong presence as a decorative vase. There are no chips or cracks. It is in good condition. There is dirt inside. No noticeable discoloration is seen on the gold accents, but there may be age-related changes that an amateur cannot detect, so those seeking a perfect condition or with strict judgment should refrain. The height is approximately 14.96 inches.
