Japanese Vintage Bridge Shape Vase Flower Holder White Porcelain Object
This is a vintage vase from the 1960s-1980s, likely a Japanese vintage (mid to late Showa period), notable for its distinctive arched “bridge-like” silhouette. It features geometric patterns carved into both the front and back arched surfaces, beautifully combining natural cracks unique to ceramics (kannyu) with intentionally carved patterns, creating an “hyoretsu” (ice crack) appearance. The white porcelain surface shows subtle blue and green colors, believed to be “furimono” (splashed glaze or pigment from adjacent works in the kiln during production), adding to its unique character. The bottom has a square frame inscription. This item is a vintage piece, approximately 40-60 years old. It has minor scuffs and natural dirt on the bottom, but there are no major damages such as cracks or chips, and the antique condition is good. The dimensions are approximately: Width: 10.63 inches, Depth: 2.95 inches, Height: 5.71 inches.
