Kutani Ware Takegoshi Ikken Samarkand Blue Iroe Tooi Hi Vase Flower Base

This is a Kutani ware vase by Kazunori Bukoshi V, from the Kutani Shozando kiln, a recipient of the Imperial Art Academy Award. It is part of the “Samarkand Blue” series, featuring vivid and deep Samarkand blue with exotic figure paintings and delicate geometric patterns. The size is approximately 12.20 inches in height, 1.18 inches in mouth diameter, and 4.49 inches in base diameter. It was displayed in a tea room and then stored in a closet. There is no original box. There is a white spot in one area (image 12), but otherwise, no noticeable scratches or dirt are observed.
