Wedgwood Daisy Makeig-jones Luster Ware Butterfly Octagonal Bowl 1920s

This is a rare lusterware by Wedgwood, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. It is a work from the 1920s, characterized by beautiful iridescent lusterware. Its diameter is approximately 7.09 inches (quite large and has a strong presence). Its height is approximately 3.15 inches. The overall condition is good, but the gold-decorated butterflies on the exterior show slight age-related deterioration (scuffs). This is an antique item, so please excuse minor age-related scuffs. It features a rare octagonal form. The interior has a butterfly motif. The exterior features mother-of-pearl luster plus gold-decorated butterfly motifs. The bottom has Wedgwood's Portland Vase mark and “ENGLAND” engraved.
