Longquan Ware Celadon Peony Arabesque Vase 48cm Chinese Antique Pottery

This is an ancient Chinese ceramic, a Longquan celadon vase with peony arabesque patterns from the Southern Song to Yuan dynasty period. A delicate and beautiful celadon glaze covers the entire piece, and the body features raised peony arabesque patterns. The moist, lustrous texture characteristic of celadon and the soft blue-green color are exceptionally beautiful, giving this piece the elegance unique to ancient ceramics. The elegant shape from the mouth rim to the shoulder, as well as the lotus petal and arabesque patterns on the lower part, are impressive, making it an outstanding decorative jar or vase for a Chinese art collection. It comes with a fitted wooden box. The box inscription reads "Chinese Zhejiang Province Longquan Kiln Celadon Vase with Peony Arabesque Patterns."
