Kyo Ware Yamada Hikaru Celadon Hakuji Tea Set Teapot Teacups
This is a tea set by the famous Kyoto ware artisan, Yamada Hikaru. It is a highly regarded celadon-white porcelain from Yamada Hikaru's collection. Unfortunately, one teacup has a crack. The box size and inner compartments are for a tea set, but the lid inscription mistakenly says “flower vase.” It is highly unlikely for a lid of the same size and artist to be swapped with a box of this specific size, so it is probably a misspelling of “flower” and “tea.” One teacup has a crack. It comes with a shared box. The teapot measures 5.51 inches in width and 4.72 inches in height. The sencha bowl measures 2.76 inches in width and 2.60 inches in height.
